Comes to the relief of Yash Raj banner a tolerable Movie- Bachna Ae Hasseno, after the disaster created by Thoda Pyar thoda magic..
Sidharth Anand(Director) has been successful in enticing the audience atleast in the first half of movie and messes up the second...Read on to know how and why..
Movie revolves around a guy – Raj (Ranbir Kapoor) whose character had nothing new, Name of Character played by Sharukh Khan in half a dozen movies and Fame of Salman Khan, a playboy, but Ranbir has been successful in doing justice with the character.
He looks fresh and sensible too. Raj keep hunting for girls which he calls “Shikar” since he was 18 years old. His first Love strikes in form of a sweet Punjabi girl - Mahi( Minisha Lambha), who is over romantic and over filmy, Minisha have performed brilliantly in the first half she looks fresh, bright, joyfull, and everything which director would have dreamt of about Mahi’s Character. Raj’s Second Love come in form of Radhika (Bipasha Basu), Sidharth Anand has some how confused the audience about the character of Radhika, from being in Live in relationship for 1.5 years for her career to suddenly deciding of leaving everything(including her career) for Raj. Bipasha is looking hot in the movie and have portrayed her part well. Raj’s Third and final love is Gaytri (Deepeka Padhuke). Gaytri is a taxi driver in Sydney- independent, ambitious and non believer in marriage. Deepika have atleast got some dialogues in this movie to prove she can speak, (remember her single dialogue in Om Shanti Om) ,She have delivered them well too. All the actors have done their part above average with Minisha being exceptionally well. Second half of the movie is very haphazard and somehow you get a feeling that may be director was running short of time or Producer short of Money or both, Movie ends too fast, with Mahi forgiving Raj very easily and Raj getting Gaytri very smoothly. Second half of the movie kills all expectations that arose from the first half. Music of the movie has been good and fresh with Ranbir’s dance adding charm to it. Screenplay has
